Pain in People with Cancer. Having cancer does not always mean that you will have pain. But if you do, it can and should be treated. Any type of pain, not just cancer pain, can affect all parts of a person's life. Some days it may be better or worse than others.
Skin cancer signs and symptoms. The sooner a skin cancer is identified and treated, the better your chance of avoiding surgery or, in the case of a serious melanoma or other skin cancer, potential disfigurement or even death. It is also a good idea to talk to your doctor about your level of risk and for advice on early detection.
