There is no authentication or security as long as you are not using the OBD2 connector. I was using a 2 channel isolated can hat off of Amazon, connecting directly to the can hubs behind the glove box using common jumper wires.
6 cze 2024 · Took it a local repair shop and they tried to diagnose it with no success. I really appreciate this forum as it helped me considerably and I appear to have fixed the issue. First I opened the fuse fuse box in engine compartment and made sure all fuses and relays were seated. Then replaced aux battery and that seemed to help for a day or two.
