9 maj 2019 · I'm replacing my aftermarket stereo in my 2010 Jeep Wrangler, this one currently has a CanBus attached to the wiring. Do I need this? And what "interface" do you speak of?
6 cze 2024 · I really appreciate this forum as it helped me considerably and I appear to have fixed the issue. First I opened the fuse fuse box in engine compartment and made sure all fuses and relays were seated. Then replaced aux battery and that seemed to help for a day or two. Then replaced the main battery and again it was good for a day or two.

16 sie 2024 · To replace the factory radio in your Jeep JK, you will need to purchase a compatible aftermarket head unit and a CanBus adapter, such as the iDatalink MaestroRR. You will also need to remove the old radio, connect the new head unit to the Jeep's wiring harness, and secure the new radio in place.
6 lut 2018 · Personally, I would replace it with an aftermarket if it's shot. You can get a really nice radio with the brackets, conversion harness and canbus module for less than buying a new factory radio. 12 JK, 3.5" Teraflex/Franken lift, Bilstein 5100's, BFG KM3's 37x12.5/R17
16 sie 2011 · All the inputs and outputs in your JK are controlled by the various modules (not the CAN link itself); TIPM, Cluster, Steering Control, Radio, PCM, Keyless Entry, Occupant Classification Module, ABS and so on....
10 paź 2013 · The 2008 radio connects to a 83.333Kbps CANBUS (the 2010 Jeep Wrangler uses a 125Kbps CANBUS with different CAN message identifiers). The point of this project is to activate the radio so it will turn on and remotely change radio stations and the volume by simulating the steering wheel buttons.
