15 sie 2022 · Here's how to visit Ohio's Cuyahoga Valley National Park by RV and where to camp nearby. By Becky Strauss. The Cuyahoga Valley stretches between two metropolitan areas—Cleveland and Akron, Ohio—and surrounds the Cuyahoga River as it winds its way toward Lake Erie.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 20 miles south of Cleveland, about a 25-minute drive away, and just a 15-minute drive from Akron. There is no admission fee to visit the national park, and free parking is available at Boston Mill Visitor Center, Brandywine Falls, and Ledges Trailhead.
The park is a refuge for native plants and wildlife, and provides routes of discovery for visitors. The winding Cuyahoga River gives way to deep forests, rolling hills, and open farmlands.
