20 paź 2023 · GeoSearch is an interactive mapping application that makes it easy to find geographic areas in Canada for which census data are available. To find a specific place of interest, users can click and zoom in on a map of Canada or they can search by place name or postal code.
As of October 2019, there were 876,445 postal codes, [2] using forward sortation areas (FSAs), from A0A in Newfoundland to Y1A in Yukon. Canada Post provides a postal code look-up tool on its website [3] and via its mobile application, [4] and sells hard-copy directories and CD-ROMs.
Use Find a Postal Code to locate the postal code for a specific address within Canada. Start typing a Canadian address in the box provided. Suggested addresses appear as you type. Select your address from the list of suggestions. For some addresses, you may also be prompted to select an appropriate unit number.
The Open Database of Addresses (ODA) is a collection of open address point data and is made available under the Open Government License - Canada. Statistics Canada acknowledges the many local governments that produce public address listings, which are the source of the ODA.
