27 kwi 2016 · Five, 6, 7 and 8-speed chains. A 7.1 mm wide 8-speed chain * will fit all the other systems (5, 6 and 7-speed ones). Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo all use the same chain with 8 speeds. The chain for 7 speeds is a bit wider – 7.3 mm, while a 6-speed one is substantially wider – 7.8 mm.
22 lut 2018 · For inner chain width there are the following standard dimensions: Single speed chains have inner width of 1/8″ (3.175 mm). Multi speed chains, from 5 to 8 have inner width of 3/32″ (2.38 mm). Multi speed chains from 9 to 12 speeds have inner width of 11/128″ (2.18 mm).
3 kwi 2005 · There are many ways to determine the proper length of a chain but I had a specific question about the technique recommended by Campagnolo. Campagnolo's technique is to put the chain on the smallest sproket and chainring and the gap between the front pulley and chain must be between 8mm and 15mm.
Determine the correct length of the chain positioning it on the sprocket and the smallest chainring and ensuring that the measurement H (Fig. 2), the distance between the bottom part of the rocker and the upper part of the chain, is about circa 10 - 15 mm.
15 cze 2021 · Best Chain for Campagnolo 8-speed Drivetrain. I recently resurrected my vintage Pinarello with Campy Chorus 8-speed. I'm using an 8-speed KMC chain, like I would have back in the day when I raced this bicycle (except I probably used SRAM then).
I've got an unopened SRAM PC 1050/1 Chain, which is listed as SRAM & Shimano compatible. Would it work on the Campagnolo equipped I'll be building up next week or do I need a Campag specific...
8 mar 2018 · Campagnolo cassettes have several old (discontinued, considered obsolete) standards and one current freehub mounting standard. Obsolete Campagnolo standard for 8 speed titanium Exa-Drive cassettes. Ridges are wider at 5 and 7 o’clock, to ensure proper sprocket orientation when mounting. Old 9 speed Campagnolo Exa-Drive standard.
