21 lip 2005 · I am trying to install the rear ashtray lid on a 68 Console and I can't figure out how the springs install. I have looked at the factory assembly manual and it doesn't help much. The springs I got from Ricks 1st gen, and they are the same for both sides of the ash tray lid, is this correct?
29 sie 2010 · To keep the ashtray up and in closed position, it's spring loaded on both sides. The springs can break or in most cases just come unhooked from where they go. The complete ashtray assembly must be removed for this repair.
