But it was expected. We used to love this place before Covid and the previous managers went to open Entre Nous. The menu was trimmed drastically and the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen dramatically lowered. We still loved the atmosphere and the staff. Cafe Atlantic on Union, a semi casual/nice Cuban cafe own by the people from Xiamora. Many nice memory of coffee + Cuban fried rice with plantains for a poor student who ‘splurged’ there.

Smith Brothers restaurant group (Parkway Grill, Arroyo Chophouse, Smitty’s Grill) changed the name of its long-running Crocodile Café to Café 140 South, transforming it into a brasserie, although much of the casual California fare remains the same.
