Registration Process. The MPRE is developed by NCBE and administered on NCBE’s behalf by its test contractor, Pearson VUE, at testing centers in locations across the US, including locations in Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
MPRE Scores. NCBE scores the MPRE and reports scores to jurisdictions and examinees. MPRE scores are reported on a scale ranging from 50 (low) to 150 (high). Passing scores are established by each jurisdiction. View our interactive map for jurisdiction information.
Registration for all 2024 MPRE dates is now open. MPRE registration is a multi-step process. You must complete the NCBE portion of the registration process, schedule your test appointment with Pearson VUE, and pay the test fee by 11:59 p.m. central time on the registration deadline.
