Sorry that this happened to you, but I would not purchase an account from anyone unless you know them since every webkinz account is connect to someone's personal email. They can change the login information at any time.
If you’re really worried, I would contact Webkinz customer support. Other than that I would just ignore the email. I’ve recovered five accounts and I’ve never received an email like this after requesting to change my password.
In April/May, my account got hacked and someone changed my password. I emailed Webkinz help but because of time and age; I don't have access to that email or any of the secret codes.
