19 paź 2022 · The default behavior for SmartArt is to shrink the text to fit. The text box resizing buttons are disabled because SmartArt text sizing is under program control. Those checkboxes will become enabled if the SmartArt is ungrouped to shapes using the SmartArt Design>Convert>Convert to Shapes command.
We are going to insert an org chart and we want as much slide space as possible. So, we’ll right-click the slide, point to Layout , and choose Blank. To insert the chart, we click INSERT , SmartArt , and choose Hierarchy.
If the user manages to mess up the positioning and sizes, there is a button that will re-size and align everything as equally as possible.
18 mar 2016 · Choose "Resize shape to fit text" but remove the check next to "Wrap text in shape" Then the text box will grow in width to contain text as you add it. You'll have to press ENTER or SHIFT+ENTER to add paragraph/line breaks as needed since PPT won't wrap lines for you with these settings.

15 mar 2021 · Click "Scale" when asked, and your objects (including font size) will be scaled proportionally. If needed, you can resize the slide back to whatever size you need it to be, but click "Don't Scale" when prompted to not rescale the content. Share. On the Format Shape pane, on the Text Options tab, in the Textbox group, in the Text Box section, select one of the AutoFit options: Do not Autofit (default option for shapes) - the text and the object do not change sizes, and the text can overflow from the box or be truncated.
