26 lut 2018 · Bulova no longer produces or supports the Accutron models. As such, finding quality service and repair providers can be difficult. Here's what I've found, with whatever supporting information available.
First, establish that the watch is, in fact a Bulova. Second, attempt to identify the model by matching the case to known examples (or to identification resources). If that fails, identify and date the movement to narrow your search and try again to identify the case. We look at each of these issues, below.
27 maj 2008 · #1 · May 27, 2008 (Edited by Moderator) Here's a handy chart to help date your Bulova or Accutron watch: From 1949 or so on, the date code is found on the back of the case. For instance, L5 means 1955. M7 equates to 1967. Before that, the symbol is found on the edge of the movement.

Simplified Manual. CARE FOR METAL BRACELETS. The bracelet should be cleaned occasionally by using a soft brush and warm soapy water, then rinsed thorougly and dried completely. If your watch is not water resistant, cleaning should be done by a professional. CARE FOR STRAPS.

The Accutron's tuning fork (in the Accutron 214 movement) vibrates at 360 Hz and uses a button-cell battery.
