Bulova Accutron watches were originally designed to use Mercury batteries of 1.35 volts, since they were the only type manufactured then. The pic (left) shows an original 214 all-metal "top hat" cell, before 387 cells with the plastic spacer became available.
Accutron 219 uses 344 Maxell SR1136SW. This kit delivers both the correct voltage and life up to a year. Replaces old mercury 343. Powered by a 1.5 volt multi-drain silver oxide cell with a special circuit that outputs the proper voltage required for these movements.
If your Accutron is currently running(or ran) correctly on a modern 1.5V watch battery this cell may not work in your watch without service from a watchmaker. ACCUCELL-1, This is the NEW power cell specifically designed for the 214 Accutron watches to replace the 387-mercury cell.
