Grasp of the Undying is super strong. its basically the go-to for every tank and the only thing that really makes sense for this ekko build on the resolve tree. Shield Bash resonates well with your W shield. If you want you can take Demolish for more splitpush power.
The second build shows a more viable, all around jungle build. The armor helps you clear and you can be useful due to your tank stats. This build can be pretty nice if you need to tower dive often as the armor allow you to tank several turret shots along with your ult helping you lose turret aggro.
TLDR: I think Ekko’s best build for top is as follows: Runes: first strike, free boots, biscuits, cosmic. Secondary: Second wind/bone plating, overgrowth. Or. Triumph, Legend Tenacity. Items: Crown -> Nashors/Fimbulwinter -> Fimbulwinter/Nahors -> Demonic/Zhonya’s (if ar is needed)/Abyssal Mask (if mr is needed) The long post:
Lich bane shouls be considered in most ekko builds as it is probably the strongest ap item that has not yet been hit. It also gives cdr which is nice to get u to the 30-40 haste that u need. It also gives a small amt of move speed which can help make up for no protobelt.
