22 kwi 2009 · The GNX torque arm is one idea. Another is to undersling the arm like the Mustang uses, which gets around having to modify the driveshaft tunnel for more room (depending on torque arm length). It doesn't require a special cover for the axle.
5 gru 2009 · I looked into the torque arm deal when I painted my Regal. I was going to badge it as a GNX and put a torque arm on it. The problem is the arm is very short, not like an F-body arm.
14 sty 2016 · It had a torque arm bolted to the trans crossmember and connected to a set of plates installed behind the rear end cover and in front of the pumpkin. It still had the factory upper and lower control arms.
I’m doing some front end suspension and steering work on the Buick Grand National, so figured I’d share the proper torque specs since I had to find them for my own use. G-BODY FRONT SUSPENSION: You should try and tighten suspension components with a load on them.
14 kwi 2014 · The GNX suspension lifts the rear evenly, pushes the nose down, and turns all of that torque into forward motion in a hurry. Both wheels grab equally, and the car goes absolutely straight.
