Hi - I recently had an issue with Budget wherein they tried to scam me out of money for damage done to the vehicle before I rented it. I figured I’d share my experience, how I successfully fought back, and how I recommend consumers protect themselves when renting cars.
I’m currently filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Attorney General’s Office, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). I urge anyone who has experienced similar issues with Budget Car Rental to file a complaint with them too.

11 sty 2024 · The only car rental companies I would think are: Island (a Jamaican company) and the large international car rental companies like Avis, National, Budget, etc. They have a desk in the transportation hall at the Montego Bay airport.
this is not a franchised budget location and as a corporate owned airport location, it is unacceptable and speaks extremely poorly to the entire budget organization. the service here is consistently sooo bad, i may consult with my finance department to get our corporate account switched to Hertz.
