Most cordless digital phones are compatible with Digital Voice and the phone’s base unit can be connected directly to your Smart Hub 2. If you don’t want to have your phone near the Smart Hub 2 or if you want to keep your existing phone, you can use an adaptor.
Once you've got a steady blue light on your Hub and have set up your handset as explained above, you'll be able to start using your DIgital Voice service. If you have a brand new number, you'll be able to receive incoming calls then too.

19 mar 2022 · My account shows as having digital voice set up, and after multiple calls to BT, it still is not working. There is no dial tone if I plug a normal phone into the hub, and the handsets will register to the hub fine, but then show they cannot make or receive calls.

20 lis 2023 · I never received a new hub when upgrading to Halo3 and to be honest, broadband is working perfectly regardless. I am now receiving notifications about Digital Voice, and wondering can I use HomeHub3 to plug my existing phone in?
No matter if you are on fibre, broadband or just have a telephone line only, you will be provided with a hub/router from BT or your service provider. These have an integral telephone socket which will provide dial tone.
