Please note that students who wish to transfer from another college or university into Wagner College's PA program must first complete their bachelor's degree. The second bachelor's degree program is designed for students who have earned a bachelor's degree in a field other than Physician Assistant Studies.

Traditionally, these programs take 2-3 years to complete as a graduate student but accelerated dual degree programs allow students to begin their Physician’s Assistant coursework after just three years of undergraduate coursework, shaving off a full year of study.
Therefore the national trend is for all PA programs to transition to master’s level programs. Degree Offered: Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies The Physician Assistant Program is 28 months in length, starting in August and ending approximately 2 ½ years later in December.
We offer four physician assistant programs, with separate ARC-PA accreditations, and different schedules. The BS/MS programs in Long Island/NUMC is a traditional program with a more accelerated schedule–the program is completed in 28 months.
