Browning Arms Company (originally John Moses and Matthew Sandefur Browning Company) is an American marketer of firearms and fishing gear. The company was founded in Ogden, Utah, in 1878 by brothers John Moses Browning (1855–1926) and Matthew Sandefur Browning (1859–1923).
A full mount NOMAD consists of a base rail (1) matched to the gun and a mounting rail (2), which is specific to the scope. The base rails are available in SINGLE, HYBRID or MULTIPLE versions. The multiple is adjustable in windage and elevation, and lets you use the same scope on a second gun.
Although the Euro-style heel magazine release can be a pain to those used to something easier and quicker to access, it’s not a deal-breaker for what’s essentially a .22 plinker, albeit a very sexy one. Other controls are minimalist and unobtrusive such as the side-mounted safety lever.
