4 kwi 2014 · One is located next to the battery release tab and the others are equally spaced apart from that one. Note three chirps every minute is a malfunction; not a battery issue. Unit most likely needs to be cleaned.
The "latching" function (green light on 2 seconds, off 2 seconds) is to identify which unit(s) were triggered AFTER the alarm turned itself off. We had the same issue multiple times in the middle of the night- I just go room to room and find the flashing green unit, disconnected it, shop vac every crevice on the unit, & reinstall.
