Bridge is a trick-taking card game played in teams, meaning that each player must place a card face-down on the table (or screen when playing virtually) and that the best cards “win” that round. A game of bridge is divided into two sections: bidding and card play.
Setting up the game is pretty straightforward. First, have every player pick a card from a shuffled deck. Whoever draws the highest card is the game’s dealer. The player to the left of the dealer cuts the cards. Once that’s done, the dealer deals 13 cards to each player. And that’s it; you’re set up to play bridge!
