2 mar 2021 · After updating to version 1.19.x, Brave will no longer be compatible with OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite or earlier. This matches the behavior in both Firefox and Chrome , which also no longer support 10.10.5 or earlier.

27 sty 2021 · The latest Brave update 88.1.19.86 no longer works in MacOS Yosemite 10.10.5. Yet the update made no mention of ceasing to support Yosemite. Brave desperately needs an OS Technical Support page listing the OS versions supported by an update to avoid such problems.
19 sty 2021 · The Brave Browser that I downloaded from the Brave site and have been very happily using for about 3 weeks (EXTREMELY stoked to switch from YEARS of Google Chrome), suddenly began producing the error message in the Mac Finder after quitting Brave today:
SOLVED. I just finished working on an assignment and closed the browser, then an icon appeared over the brave logo, and just shows info about needing os x10.11 or later. I cannot update my current MacBook any further (late 2009) model. Luckily I ordered a new MacBook M1 recently.
