FLAG (Friends, Lesbians, and Gays) Flag Football is Boston’s premiere flag football league for the LGBTQIA+ community and one of the largest gay sports leagues in Boston. Founded in 1998, we are a recreational football club playing on Saturday mornings in the spring and fall.
Football season never ends with BSSC’s Coed & Men’s adult flag football leagues. Outdoor leagues run from March til November with new leagues starting every month at convenient locations in Brighton, Fenway, Medford, Newton, South Boston, and Winchester. Indoor leagues run November to April in Winchester.

FALL 2024 SEASON. The CCFL is in its 25th year of Flag Football. Our Fall Season is the season that is most anticipated throughout the year. Teams consist of athletes with many skill sets that crossover from many other sports. The level of play is recreational and high school to college and semi-pro.

CCFL has firmly established itself as one of the best men’s flag football league in Boston. Our goal is to continue to grow our league and offer a premier collection of tournaments that play for city wide recognition of the best 5 v 5 flag football team of Boston.
No standing game times (i.e., ALL games at 8:30am). No standing blocks (i.e., NO games at 8:30am). You can make special requests for times no later than 12:00pm ten days prior to your next game to be played. It is highly recommended to give notice via email to the commissioner regarding any other scheduling conflicts.
