You don't really get to choose train stations. From Paris trains to Avignon leave from Gare du Lyon, or from the TGV station at CDG airport.

I'm looking for TGV tickets from CDG to Lyon too and the prices are much better on Rail Europe than direct on the SNCF Connect site. Thanks! We used Rail Europe for three recent journeys…. Paris to Lyon, Lyon to Marseille, Marseille to Cannes.
