19 kwi 2018 · The people that had encounters with angels in the Old Testament and the Book of Mormon did not record the names of the angels that were communicating with them. But that did not matter. What mattered is that they were messengers from God, sent to tell them something important.
There are two kinds of beings in heaven who are called angels: those who are spirits and those who have bodies of flesh and bone. There are many references in scripture to the work of angels. Sometimes angels speak with a voice of thunder as they deliver God’s messages ( Mosiah 27:11–16 ).
Angels are actual beings participating in many incidents related in scripture (e.g., Luke 1:13, 19; 2:25; John 20:12, etc.). They exist as a part of the "whole fam ily in heaven" (Eph. 3:15). All people, including angels, are the offspring of God. In form angels are like human beings.
