Bogue Chitto State Park offers 1,786 acres of steams, swamps, hardwood, forest, upland forest, rolling landscape and a campground has 81 premium campsites and 4 cabins. All 81 campsites have electric and water hookups, as well as a table, fire ring and grill.
Overnight visitors will find accommodations from tent camping and RV camping to cabins overlooking the bluffs. There is even a seven-campsite equestrian campground designed to accommodate campers and their horses.

Bogue Chitto State Park is a Louisiana state park located off Louisiana State Highway 25 south of Franklinton, in Washington Parish. The name Bogue Chitto is from the Choctaw language, bok chito, meaning big creek.
