Bogie Bowles, you’ll be missed. Bogie has stepped down today and made a post on Joe’s forum: Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I have decided not to come back next year. It has been an amazing five year run with Joe and everyone.

After gaining his sobriety, Bogie Bowles (MSW '15) went on the road as a professional drummer, working with everyone from Joe Bonamassa to B.B. King. Then he came to UNC School of Social Work. Now he's living near Nashville and helping others in recovery.
By the way, Bogie is absolutely one of the best drummers out there, period. And I'm not just saying that because he's my friend, he's awesome! As a bass player, he's the kind of drummer you want behind you.
