Update: I purchased a few parts from BMWpartscenter and it is definitely legitimate. All the parts are OEM in original boxes with matching serial numbers, but are highly discounted when compared to buying directly from my local dealership.

BMWPARTSDEAL.com AKA BMW Parts Deal Is a scam. They definitely mislead people about parts and inventory. Also their representatives are rude and condescending. I was going to order from them but was unimpressed by the behavior of their representatives on the phone.

Yes, they are legit and sell OEM parts. They are actually part BMW of Silver Spring. If you try shopping for parts from their sites, they redirect to getbmwparts. I have ordered from them whenever I could not get my local dealer to price match their online price.
