30 sty 2016 · The other two covers (stator & crankshaft) are critical ones. When installing pay attention to torque spec with product you got, stock engine screws are alum and meant for one-use only. Screws that come with engine covers are SS and use a different torque spec.

24 maj 2020 · I've got a 2014 BMW 535d with the N57B30O1 engine and it has about 90,000+ miles on it. The valve cover is leaking at the rear corner and I assume that it's just the gasket per se. Although I don't trust that the CCV diaphragm is ok.
Having never seen a 35D, but from looking at the RealOEM drawings it appears to be held on by being pressed into rubber grommets like the petrol engine covers. (Part Number (#2) in the drawing is labeled "Rubber Mounting" and there are two of them).
