The high failure rate is caused by sludge build-up that can result in oil burning, rough idle and engine fault codes. Although the solution is pretty simple, replacing the valve is labor intensive and can take anywhere from six to nine hours.
23 maj 2016 · Why not post a video of your actual symptoms? "Oil separator" is a passive device that looks like a funnel. There is a device called a "crankcase vent valve" that actually maintains the slight vacuum in the crankcase. When the diaphragm cracks, it can cause excess vacuum.
