2 lis 2008 · During assembly of the Oil Separator valve, first fasten the Oil Separator to the engine. Then insert the flex connecting hose through the manifold intake passage way. Curl the flex hose to get clearance, and insert connector onto the Oil Separator port turning the hose clockwise until it stops.

The high failure rate is caused by sludge build-up that can result in oil burning, rough idle and engine fault codes. Although the solution is pretty simple, replacing the valve is labor intensive and can take anywhere from six to nine hours.
8 mar 2020 · For those who do not have ISTA+, you need some way of reading the transmission oil temperature reliably, such as via BimmerLink or OBD Fusion. This is what ISTA tells you to do: Fill transmission until it overflows (already done if you followed my steps).
