22 lip 2023 · If new is how you roll, the full kit can be purchased from FCP for around $800. Probably not worth it, at least it wasn't for me. But I do enjoy poking around my local wrecker, and easily found the oil filter housing, cooler, and cosmetic cover for about $40. You can get them on ebay easily as well.
28 lip 2007 · It is simple to change the oil and my bike runs about 20 degrees celcius cooler all the time. Cost was about $200 for a brand new cooler, the two lines and it is mounted were the horn used to be. I like it and can tell you that all my Airheads will have them.
16 sie 2023 · Where to tap into for aftermarket oil cooler install. On newer G series, many non M don't come with a dedicated oil cooler or transmission cooler. Given bmw don't use a threaded oil filter, we cannot easily use the standard thermostatic AN adapter to feed the cooler.

Roadsports races last 45 minutes but the club enduro races are 2 hours. Others report that at close to 45 minutes the without an oil cooler the temperature gets uncomfortingly high.
