18 lip 2024 · The BMW i8 is undeniably a stunner, but when it comes to raw performance, it lags behind many of its competitors. It doesn’t matter if it’s the blistering speed of the Tesla Model S or the hybrid prowess of the Acura NSX, the i8’s 0-60 time leaves much to be desired.
Car and Driver on some tests use proving grounds where maybe the initial launch maybe more grippier as a result as testing is constantly done there. However the 0-100MPH is seriously quick too and it's the first ever results panel they've ever done or I've seen with no rollout mentioned? Strange. So yes I'd agree with you.
