24 lut 2009 · I trying to locate cylinder #4, but uncertain where it would be at. and I clueless on the firing order. Thanks in the advance.
First thing that's important is that say for instance the S65 and most other V8's have cross-plane cranks, versus the F1 and most other exotics have flat plane cranks, so that in itself affects the firing order. Also, you have to consider the cylinder numbering can be different from brand to brand.
15 sty 2008 · I saw on some other site that the firing order was different. Does it fire in that order also? I would assume that the firing order wouldn't follow the cylinder numbers.
Thus, the "Bimmer" vs. "Beemer" dispute is connected to the 2002 vs. 320i rivalry, and both of those are connected, in obvious ways, to the enthusiast vs. yuppie image associated with those two early models.

So which is the correct pronunciation and spelling to use when referring to a BMW car? We’re gonna set the record straight and get down to it (and spare you a history lesson on BMW)… Bimmer = BMW car (4 wheels) and it is pronounced, BIM-mer. Beemer or Beamer = BMW motorcycle (2 wheels) and it is pronounced, BEAM-er or Beam-Mer. That’s it.
I always said Beamer for everything. Since becoming a part of this sub, I use bimmer occasionally too. I use both to refer to any BMW though. It was explained to me that beemer was used as an insult by people that know nothing of the brand, and bimmer is used by those with some knowledge.
