Im Herbst 1971 kam als weitere Modellvariante der BMW 3.0 CSi mit Bosch-D-Jetronic-Saugrohreinspritzung hinzu, der ansonsten baugleich mit dem BMW 3.0 CS ist. Dieses Modell hat 200 PS (147 kW), beschleunigt in 7,7 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h und erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 220 km/h.
