There are two crystal clear pools known as the Blue Lagoon. These pools were created from two former limestone quarries.
Get there about 10-30 minutes before the lagoon opens. There are limited picnic tables with shelters and the summer heat can get overwhelming. Reservations are not accepted so if you want to get in, get there early. I got there at 10:10am and was one of the last cars to get in.

The Blue Lagoon is a beautiful hidden treasure in Huntsville Tx. The cost to get in was $22.00 dollars and you are assigned your own designated area. You must stay in your designated area, but all The areas here are beautiful. They offer scuba diving lessons and yoga. You also can just swim which is what i did. The staff here was not friendly ...
