20 lip 2015 · Based on further feedback from the OP, connect the black wire in the ceiling box to the black wire on the remote unit in the fan. Then wire the remote as shown on Tester101's diagram. Note that the ceiling wire go to the remote and the reomte wires go to the fan/light unit.
