I've been working on a Hunter class for 5e, that was spurred on by DM Tuz’s Bloodborne Monster Manual. I plan on running a Bloodborne story campaign for people who haven’t played it and this class was the result of it!

Sometimes bosses do a mix of both so you need to use armor that has good hybrid defenses. A good example is the Chalice Dungeon boss Keeper of the Old Lords who does physical and fire damage, and this can be countered with his own Bone Ash set which has both high physical and fire defense.
