Saya Otonashi (音無 小夜, Otonashi Saya) is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series Blood+. She is the first-born daughter of the Chiropteran Mummy, a pure blooded Chiropteran queen, the older twin sister of Diva, aunt of Kanade and Hibiki and the lover of Hagi.
Saya otonashi is the main heroine of the series and the lover of haji and sister to kai and riku and daughter of gearge. she is also the twin sister of diva.

Saya and Diva are the "queens", descendants of a line of supremely powerful chiropterans that are always born as twin females. Aiding Saya in this century-long quest is an organization called the Red Shield, with a man named David assigned to be Saya's primary "handler."
Under the care of her adoptive family, the protagonist Saya Otonashi had been living the life of an anemic amnesiac, but otherwise ordinary schoolgirl. However, her happy life is shattered when she is attacked by a Chiropteran, a hematophagous bat-like creature that lives by feeding on human blood.
