Gods who grant the power of the Blood Domain, including the Ruiner and the Matron of Ravens, direct their followers to tap into the connection between body and soul, exploit the hidden reserves of will within one’s own vitality, and corrupt the bodies of others through the secret rites of hemocraft.
From 1st level, your divine magics draw the blood from inflicted wounds, worsening the agony of your nearby foes. When you use a spell of 1st level or higher to inflict damage to any creatures that have blood, those creatures suffer additional necrotic damage equal to 2 + the spell’s level.
Blood magic, or hemomancy, is a school of magic based around utilizing blood as a material to cast powerful spells and curses. There is latent life magic in the blood of all creatures, though it is more potent in some more than others. Blood can be used to preform many things, such as healing spells, wards, damaging curses and complex rituals.
Divergent Domains offers players 20 new subclasses for the cleric class, along with a handful of spells from cantrips to 5th level, and a small section dedicated to new ways to consider the backstory or societal role a cleric character can have or has had.

Of the gods of blood, Anima desires only for the creation and continuation of all creatures with her red liquid flowing in their veins. Starting at 17th level, as an action you can call for the blood of your enemies. When you do so, each enemy within 30ft. must make a constitution saving throw against your spell casting DC, taking 10d8 necrotic damage on a fail, or half as much on a success as you siphon the blood out of its body.
