I would be very surprised if you can't separate the 2.4 and the 5.0 bands. I have a quad-stream dual-band router, and separating things out is as easy as changing the SSID name of one of the bands. Most routers come preconfigured like this where they just add "5G" to the name of the 5Ghz SSID to make it easy to identify.

22 maj 2020 · It is possible (but unlikely) that the smartphone app used to configure the Blink camera requires the smartphone to be connected to a 2.4G WiFi signal. There is a way to deal with that. The only thing you do NOT need to do is mess around with hacking the Orbi WiFi names.
The best solution here is to adjust the routers to have separate SSIDs for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. In most cases, even a weak 5 GHz signal will be faster than 2.4 GHz; the only things I have that connect to 2.4 GHz are devices (like my Kindle and the home thermostat) that aren't capable of using 5 GHz at all.
