23 cze 2023 · Right-click the Wi-Fi adapter > Properties. Open the Advanced tab. Set Property to Band or Preferred band. This option can have a different name depending on the adapter producer. Use the drop-down menu below Value and select 5GHz. Click OK to save the new changes.

2.4 GHz is a longer-range signal than 5 GHz, and if you have both channels on the same name, many devices will latch onto 2.4 GHz because of that. Separating the network names, and telling your devices not to auto-join the 2.4 GHz network, is the best solution here.
