Once you reach level 60 as a Mercenary, you will be able to job change into a Blade. Blades unlike Mercenaries, can dual wield weapons (Axes/Swords) and they have a wide variety of new abilities that will aid you in your journey. Blades are the perfect example of a threat on the battlefield.
Is there some optimal stat allocation in between STR/DEX/STA to make it easier to reach level 60? I'd also like to know if AOE Blade is better than going 1v1 Blade while leveling and how it compares to Knight AOE and 1v1. If someone could explain stat points allocation as well for these builds and their pro/cons that would be gold.
blade benefits highly from sta jewelry and gear stats, i do not recommend statting sta for 1v1 builds. 45 set works till 90, however id suggest the 30 set as it adds an additional crit rate.

The merc aoe scales with str same as the LV 70 Blade aoe, only the first aoe blade Skill (1 of 2) scales with dex, but has worse scaling than the LV 70 one. You can consider going dex for the Block rate but then again you lose all potential for doing giants, bosses or PvP.
