Ensure the user can sign into his/her MyCWI account by going to my.cwi.edu. If the user can sign into the MyCWI account, ensure that the user is inputting the username for Blackboard with the correct domain.
Go to blackboard.cwi.edu; You will be presented with a screen that asks you to log in to your account using your organizational account. Your username will be your CWI email address username@my.cwi.edu for students and username@cwi.edu for employees. Your password will be the same password that you set for your MyCWI. Accessing email from home may be done via online web access (OWA) by using your browser to go to: portal.office.com. Alternatively you can follow an email link through various places such as blackboard, mycwi, or the cwi.edu homepage.
Next, a Microsoft page will open that will ask you to enter in your email (see screenshot below). You will enter in your school affiliated email. If you are a student, it will be your first and last name, exactly like your username, with no spaces or capital letters, continuing with “@my.cwi.edu”.
