10 maj 2023 · The Black Pastel Ball Python is a colour and pattern altering mutation that is similar to the Cinnamon Ball Python. There is some debate whether or not these morphs are separate lineages, as they both produce extremely similar supers, even when paired to one another.
Black Pastels are high contrast animals, with distinct black background coloration & gold or rust colored patterning. Black Pastels tend to exhibit less fading throughout the {GL=lateral} markings than the Cinnamon trait, and the {GL=dorsal} pattern may be striped, broken, or greatly reduced.

The Black Pastel Ball Python morph is very similar to the Cinnamon morph. They look similar to a normal Ball Python but are darker and have more contrast.

14 cze 2015 · at their basic form, i could tell the difference between the Black Pastel and Cinnamon. it gets harder at their Super forms. however i do see more splotches and paradoxing in the Super Cinnys and 8-Balls.

As a single gene I prefer cinnamon, but of the 2 snakes I have with these genes I prefer the one with black pastel (just because of the pinstripe in her). Cinnamon Lesser.
