Bitwarden vs LastPass. Question. I've seen a lot of posts that discuss password managers and far and away Bitwarden is the one most commonly recommended. From a business perspective, what makes it the more attractive option over LastPass? I've read some articles and signed up for a free Bitwarden account but so far I can't see what it does better.
Bitwarden has a better password generator that supports passphrases. Bitwarden imports Lastpass vaults pretty easily, but going from Bitwarden from Lastpass is a bit painful because you have to reorder the fields in the .csv export file.
LastPass is better sometimes (e.g. usability of web extension) and Bitwarden is better some other times (e.g. Desktop app). Sometimes, they just make different choices because Bitwarden errs on the side of security and LastPass on the side of usability.
