The reason I say this is because the Bible says only one sin can’t be forgiven by God—and that is the sin of refusing His forgiveness. Let me explain it this way. When Jesus died on the cross, all our sins were placed on Him, and He took upon Himself the judgment we deserve.
A: Only one sin that can’t be forgiven is on God’s list—and that is the sin of rejecting Him and refusing His offer of forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ. This alone is the unforgivable sin, because it means we are saying that the Holy Spirit’s witness about Jesus is a lie (see Luke 12:10 ).
While there is an unforgivable sin, it is not one that a true believer in Jesus Christ can commit. The one sin which God cannot forgive is mentioned in Mark 3:28-30 and Matthew 12:31-32. Jesus had been performing miracles, including driving demons out of people by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible says that Christ “offered himself unblemished to God, [to] cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death” (Hebrews 9:14). Let Christ forgive you and cleanse you of your sin and guilt today, by turning to Him in repentance and faith.
Isaiah 1:18 says, “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” In 1 John 1:9 we read: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
The Bible says, “He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge … which stood against us and condemned us” (Colossians 2:13-14). How is this possible? It is possible solely because of God’s love for us!

And yet if we don’t learn to forgive, we will discover that we can never really rebuild trust. When God forgives us and purifies us of our sin, He also forgets it.
