18 lut 2010 · The BG Corp Z-92s are floor standing speakers just under 4 feet tall with the included spikes. The speakers are a 3-way design with anodized black aluminum 6.5″ low mass woofers in their own separate enclosure.
18 cze 2009 · The Z-92 and Z-62 speakers take big steps forward from the original Z-models in several key areas. First, their new midrange drivers give middle frequencies the same fast, transparent, wide-open sound that made BG Radia’s planar ribbon tweeter famous.
It is an open baffle speaker, so the wing acts to extend the response of the BG Neo10 driver down to the 200Hz acoustic point for crossover. If you look at the GR-Research NX-Otica and NX-treme speakers the MTM section uses this same design idea that Danny has been discussing.
15 lut 2024 · I currently own Martin Logan EM-ESL electrostatics and Monsoon FPF-1000 planar speakers. Some very good cone speakers too, from Acoustic Research and Infinity. Plus, I've heard Acoustat Ones, 1+1's and 2+2's, and Final Sound stats, VMPS planars, and Pipe Dream line arrays at shows.
20 sty 2012 · It's interesting to see that BG chose to cross the Neo3 at 1.5khz in it's newest free standing speaker to a pair of Neo 10's.....without a waveguided faceplate. Maybe in a dipole configuration, the cancellations do enough to support directivity without the help of a guide.
22 paź 2017 · Did a BG Neo10 comparison of an original and new production planar on the mirror image open baffles. Had to swap baffles around, so expected some variation. Looks very close to me with the range expanded to 5dB/Div.
9 cze 2012 · Is it realistic to go this low in a dipole construction? Is one of them better suited for lower frequencies? Would two Neo 10's make it possible to go lower? - What type of passive crossover filter is recommended for a 10+3 combo? What's the typical cost of the filter components?
