If you have the base version of game pass, then I would recommend Celeste, all of the DOOM games, all of the Wolfenstein games, Outer Wilds, Skyrim, Fallout. In general, I would just reccomend almost every game on there.
The best game on gamepass is Mass Effect Legendary edition. It’s the best gaming trilogy ever made. There is a good reason Mass Effect 2 is often listed as one of the top 10 games of all time. A couple others I really like are Assassins Creed: Odyssey but only if you play as Kassandra.
Yakuza 0 is the best game of all time. Persona 3 Reload is a great life sim/ dungeon crawler. Outer Wilds amazing scifi puzzle open planet game. Sea of Stars - Indie Game of the Year. Reply reply.

The Bethesda games like Skyrim and fallout 4 are great, engrossing experiences where you can mostly just relax, explore, and build the character you want. Scarlet Nexus has great hack and slash action and has comparable gameplay to Nier. Hollow knight is one of my favorite games ever, great 2d metroidvania.
I don’t have 5, but the few I would say I get the most value out of my gamepass for are MLB the show 23, Forza 5, Flight sim. Probably the most generic list ever, but it’s good value for me. I would say all those random simulator games are worth it too just for fun when you’re bored. Like House Flipper, Power Wash Sim, etc.
Of course, I grab a COD, Halo, or Battlefield and can easily play 2-3 hours a day. I have a family and can only afford a few hours a day at most. I've put epic games on hold because of this (Horizon FW, Ragnarok (I know it's not open world), Spiderman, Pokemon, etc).
