1 maj 2022 · Updated MMoM: The updated version of the Centaur remains a very solid choice for the Barbarian. Good speed and Charge are great for getting into melee and hitting hard. The updated version does limit your skill choices, and none of the options are fantastic for the Barbarian, but they fit thematically. The damage on Hooves also improved to 1d6.
Wildheart is pretty based though. TLDR: - if you're planning on multiclassing into rogue bc of poggers BAs and free sneak attack from reckless attack, JUST GO BEAR. You honestly might be better off going Berserker because of the BA attack + Thief Rogue. Amazing TIER: - Bear Eagle. Solid: Tiger. Situational / Bad:-WolfElk.
TL;DR: Wildheart barbarian with Tiger's Bloodlust and Aspect of the Beast: Wolverine can set enemy movement to 0 by attacking, which is good.
The best enabler I've found is also a Wildheart ability: Tiger's Bloodlust, granted by picking Tiger Heart at level 3. This is a cleave attack that applies bleeding to everyone you hit. Other promising options I've noticed are spiked bulbs (no save) or poisoned surfaces.
